Afellay bids farewell to PSV fans

Dutchman Ibrahim Afellay, who is set to finalise his transfer to Bar�a on December 23rd, bid farewell to the PSV fans as his team beat Roda 3-1 in Eindhoven.

The 24-year-old was subbed on 87 minutes and was given a standing ovation by the home fans in his last league game for the club before leaving for Bar�a.

Afellay told the fans “thank you for these marvellous years” as he did a lap of honour at the end of the game.

Afellay is due to arrive in Barcelona on Thursday to put the finishing touches to his contract with Bar�a and after a medical, will be presented as the team’s latest signing.
