Off to a good start (2-3)

Barca’s futsal team have got off to a great start in the Division de Honor by coming away from MRA Navarra with three points from their 2-3 victory with goals from PC, Javi and Igor.
This was a great achievement taking into account Barca’s players out through injury and their
opponent’s strength.
Fast response
Despite Imanol Arregui’s MRA Navarra having most of the possession, Barca played their
cards well and took advantage of their chances. Jesulito scored for the home side in the 10th
minute, but Barca were fast to respond and PC made it 1-1 a minute later. Just before half time,
Javi Rodríguez made it 1-2 by scoring from a penalty.
Juanito’s debut
The second half began in a similar way to the first, with the home side in possession and
keeping the pace up. Seeing this, Marc Carmona rested Javi Rodríguez and Igor and brought on two
youngsters. In the 34th minute, pivot Igor made it 1-3, making a Barca victory look on the cards.
MRA Navarra didn’t throw in the towel though, and eventually Javi Eseverri got one back for
the home side two minutes from the end. But Barca held their ground and came away with a deserved
three points.
