Unopposed (5-1)

Cristina Collado

FC Barcelona produced a comfortable 5-1 win over Punctum Millenium to remain second in Futsal’s Honour Division.

Barça continue to keep pace with the leading group in the Honour Division. ElPozo and Inter also both ran out winners in the fourth round. Marc Carmona’s team beat Pinto 5-1 and remain second in the table with 10 points, the same as third placed Inter, and two behind ElPozo Murcia.

A storming start

Barça piled on the pressure throughout the first half and the Madrid based team had just one chance to pull a goal back. However, Cristian turned Palomeque’s long range shot wide for a corner.

24 seconds before the break, Igor made it 3-0.

Paco and Juanito

Two minutes later, Fernandao got the fourth – his first in the league this season – though shortly after Pinto pulled one back (4-1).

With the final result beyond doubt, Marc Carmona brought on rising star Juanito, who added a fifth to the delight of the Palau Blaugrana crowd.
