FC Barcelona Borges have signed Raúl Enterríos on a three-year deal after the Asturian defender agreed to move to Camp Nou from Club Balonmano Valladolid.
The Blaugrana handball side have made their first signing looking ahead to the 2010/11 campaign
having seen Joachim Boldsen left to join AG Copenhagen and Rubén Garabaya moved to Naturhouse La
Rioja. Enterríos has put pen-to-paper on a contract that will keep him at the club until 2013.
Having been signed to compete with Dani Sarmiento, the Spain international will add strength and
power to the Barça squad.
Team player
Enterríos could not hide his delight after making the move as he stated: "It is a
great move in my career. My aim is to help the team to improve and to continue growing as a player
in order to achieve all our aims, which at Barça is to win trophies. I am a team player. I am not a
specialist in any particular area, but I look to do well all over. Working hard and battling are my
main characteristics."
Good move
Technical secretary Enric Masip is also pleased with the signing: "He is one of the best
players in the Liga Asobal," he explained. "He is able to play in various positions. There are very
few players like him available, who can attack and defend equally well. He has experience, but
still has a lot of room to grow. All this makes him a great addition."
