Barça Borges begin pre-season

Barça Borges began their pre-season campaign on Monday when the players reported back for a series of tests before heading off to Andorra to work their way back to peak fitness.

The Blaugrana handball stars had analytical and physical tests before a training session and then all met up in the season's new kit to have the official team group photo taken.

New signings Cedric Sorhaindo, Johan Sjöstrand and Raúl Enterríos were all present and looking forward to starting the season. "I want to adapt as soon as possible to the style of play and the dynamics of the team," Enterríos said.

"I am new and when you join a different team you discover many new things," he continued. "Here you have all the home comforts and I have been warmly greeted by the squad. I am sure all this will help me settle quickly."

Training trip

After the photo session in the Palau Blaugrana the squad travelled to Encamp, in Andorra, where they will stay until Friday, August 6. The aim of the stay is "to improve physically and to introduce tactical concepts, little-by-little" assistant coach Toni Rubiella explained.
