Barça Sorli Discau came through the test at the Ateneu de Sant Sadurní by beating Noia 2-4. Despite a strong start from the hosts, Barça Sorli Discau fought back to take the points.
Barça made a positive start to the second half of the OK Liga and kept cool heads to come back from
an early goal for Noia with hard work and efficiency to win at what is always a tough place to
visit.
Two goals before the break
Ferran Pujalte and his players had been training on surfaces similar to the one at
San Sadurni, but Noia were clearly more comfortable at the start of the game and Del Amor scored an
early goal, coming through from deep to put his shot away from the middle of the area. The home
fans went crazy, but Barça kept their cool and set out to get back onto the game.
After creating chances and tightening their defence, Barça got two quick goals towards the
end of the first half. The first came through Carlos López, who was put through by Jordi Adroher
and shrugged off a Noia defender’s attentions to fire home and then with five seconds left on
the clock, roles were switched as Lopez supplied Adroher to put Barça 1-2 up.
Team work and focus
Although Noia pulled level early in the second half with a goal from Eloi
Mitjans, Sergi Panadero hit back almost immediately with a quick counter. That goal clearly
shook the hosts, who saw that Barça were determined to stay one step ahead.
Barça now controlled the game and kept their focus to avoid the foul that would have given
Noia a free shot and Borregan put the icing on the cake as the game drew to a close. The final goal
came after Reinaldo, Panadero and Torra had combined to put Borregan in at the far post.
