Game over after 25 minutes (5-1)

A serious win for Barça Sorli Discau left no room for surprises from second to last Tenerife. Two Mia Ordeig goals started things off. Panadero and Carlitos had added two more before the break.

Those four goals in the first 25 minutes meant the second half was a mere formality, and although Tenerife started causing problems, the victory was never in doubt.

Great start

The game was just three minutes old when Mia Ordeig made it 1-0, and not long after it was them man who made it two with a powerful drive. Mateo de Ramón called a timeout to see if he could rearrange things, but to no avail. Panadero responded with yet another goal, and Barça even managed to miss two penalties before Carlos López made it 4-0 before the break.

Tenerife revived

Tenerife were far better in the second half, and there was far more defensive work for FCB to deal with, and even a goal from Saavedra. But Adroher immediately responded to make it 5-1. Further goals were expected, but didn’t come, and that was the way this relatively routine outing ended.
