Sònia de Alba
The current OK Liga champions won their first game of the season beating Noia. The first half wasn’t easy and the goals wouldn’t come, but after the break they certainly did.
Barça pinned Noia back from the start, but just couldn’t get the
first goal, despite the support of the fans. Not even a penalty which Panadero failed to put away
or the two-minute “power play” following the blue card for Francesc Bargalló was enough
to give the hosts the opening goal.
Finally, it was debutant Marc Torra who got the team off the mark on 17
minutes and once that one had gone in the second half saw Barça take complete control as first
Panadero finished off a counter attack to make it 2-0, then Borregán made it three five minutes
later. With Noia tiring it fell to Torra to get his second and make it four to round off a
successful start to the season.
