Barça Sorli Discau back to best (5-1)

The roller hockey team delivered in a game that they could only afford to win. The 5-1 defeat of Roncato Patí Vic puts them within touching distance of the top of the table.

Barça Sorli Discau are now third as the half-way point of the season approaches, and although they are still hoping for slips from direct rivals Reus and Liceo, they showed today that they have their own form back.

Frenetic pace

Barça Sorli Discau went out to do damage from that start and it was Reinaldo García who gave them an early lead. From there it was chance after chance for the home side until Mia Ordeig laid up Nalo to score the second. Shortly before the break, Vic’s Sergi Pla was on target to keep the visitors in the hunt.

Chain reaction

The second half started off uncertainly, and there were some tense moments in the Palau until Panadero created some breathing distance by making it 3-1. Borregán was then sent on and immediately delivered by thumping the ball home to make it four. Barça could have run away with it from here, but Vic almost miraculously weathered the final onslaught. There was only one more goal to come, the one which rounded off Reinaldo García’s hat-trick.
