Barça Sorli Discau have beaten Alcoi, the ideal response to their loss to Reus. The team got better as the match progressed on got what they deserved.

Three points from the game with Enrile PAS Alcoi. It took them 25 minutes to score, but once they did there was no looking back, with particular thanks going to four-goal hero Reinaldo García.

Need to improve

Barça really needed to get things back in order after recent setbacks, and looked nervous throughout an uneventful first 25 minutes, and there was further bad news when Sergi Panadero left the court injured.

But the second half got off to a great start with Alberto Borregán making it 1-0. The celebrations indicated that the champions had finally been roused from their slumber. Reinaldo García soon made it 2-0, but Alcoi found an immediate reply through Cristian Santiago to make it 2-1. The last nine minutes produced elñectric hockey, and Reinaldo García soon made it 3-1.

Joyous conclusion

There was then alarm when Alcoi got back to within one when Rodero converted a retaken free to make it 3-2. But the last three minutes saw an outstanding Reinaldo add to more goals that look to have confirmed that Barcelona have got their old magic back.
