Supporters clubs show their solidarity
www.fcbarcelona.cat
This Christmas Barça’s supporters clubs have once demonstrated their admirable commitment to charity. The PB Nicolau Casaus in Las Palmas visited children in hospital and the PB Montserrat a Montferri organised its 5th nativity scene competition.
Members of the Peña Barcelonista Nicolau Casaus de Las Palmas de Gran Canària visited Hospital
Materno Infantil in the same town on December 27. Naila Hawach, Tere Hawach, Laura Sánchez,
Zenaida Borges, Fernando Torres and Yamal Hawach handed out all kinds of Barça goodies
in the orthopaedic and oncology wards.
Both the staff and the mothers and fathers, many of whom are Barça fans, were delighted with
the concern shown by this supporters club, and their enthusiasm to share the Barça spirit.
5th nativity scene competition in Montferri
The Penya Barcelonista Montserrat a Montferri spent its Christmas organising its nativity
scene competition, something which always brings such joy and happiness to the local children. The
judging commission visited the different houses with Barça themed nativity scenes on December 21.
Then on January 4 the judging committee handed out its prizes, which were presented by the
club’s ‘pubilla’ and First Lady. This was just one more of the many activities
organised by the Penya Barcelonista Montserrat a Montferri to ensure their town is constantly
displaying its support for the Barça colours.
