Last weekend, on occasion of the Barça v Almeria match, 3 supporters clubs inaugurated their crests to round a Barça day in which these clubs visited the club grounds and watched the first team in action.
The inauguration of the Penya Blaugrana de Llerona, from Vallès Oriental, and the Penya Castillera
Barça 2000 from Castillo de Locubín (Jaén) was chaired by Marc Carrasco, director of the
club’s Social Commission, where he thanked both clubs for coming and explained how that
moment symbolically linked their clubs to the stadium, thus implying that this was their club and
home.
A group of 30 people travelled from Boltaña (Huesca) to unveil their crest. This ceremony was
presented by Josep Ignasi Macià, director of the club’s Social Commission, who welcomed the
club to its home and said that from that moment on, a part of Boltaña formed part of the stadium.
He also thanked the supporters for all the work they have done from afar.
