30th anniversary of the Penya Barcelonista de Navàs

A supper for 160 people was the final event of those commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the Penya de Navàs.
The club’s delegation
was headed by director Xavier Bagués, who was joined by former player, Julio Alberto. Also
attending was the delegate of the Supporters Clubs Advisory Committee of Bages, Berguedà and La
Cerdanya, Ramon Burniol. They were welcomed by the mayor of the municipality, Josep Oliva, and the
president of the local supporters clubs, Carles Majoral.
The supper was enjoyed in a festive spirit with music provided by a local group who performed
a special song for the Penya, as well as other amusing Barça songs. The guests also received a
surprise visit from Barça Atlètic player, Miguel Ángel Luque, who is from Navàs.
Barça youth team joins the celebrations
The celebrations included a
game between a combination of Barça youth players and the local club. Although they lost 6-0, the
home side put up a good fight, and managed to hold firm until the final minutes of the
game.
