Three more supporters clubs now have their club crests on the façade of the Camp Nou following ceremonies before the last two FC Barcelona home games.
In the build-up to the game with Malaga, two supporters clubs unveiled their plaques in the
Stadium. The first was the Penya Barcelonista Sants-Hostafrancs 2009, who brought around sixty of
their members to the ground. Pau Vilanova, director in chief of the Social Committee, was the man
who unveiled the crest, along with the supporters club’s president Daniel Blanco.
On the same day, the Penya Barcelonista la Torre Grossa de Xixona also enjoyed a similar
occasion at the Camp Nou. Xavier Ilincheta, director of the Supporters Clubs Commission,
represented FCB, along with the supporters club’s president, Xavier Garcia.
Cantabrian supporters for the game with Racing
On January 22, the day of the match with Racing Santander, the Peña Barcelonista de Sarón
unveiled their own crest. Their president, Buenaventura Regata, along with some forty fellow
members, watched as their crest became a part of the Camp Nou façade. Daniel Casanovas, director of
the Supporters Clubs Commission, was the FCB representative this time.
