Vicepresident of the Social Area joined this penya’s celebrations, which reached 25 years of support to FC Barcelona.
Last Saturday, Jordi Cardoner i Casaus visited the supporters’ club in Peñíscola during the
celebrations of its silver anniversary. The vicepresident joined lunch held at Hotel Restaurant
Felip II de Peñíscola.
Besides the vicepresident, the event also counted with the town mayor Andrés Martínez
Castellà, the delegate of the Advisory Council in Terres de l’Ebre Ramon Fibla, as well as
director of Sports Comission Joan Rei.
Acknowledgements and tributes
Lunch was special for the supporters’ club presided by Jordi Sanz. During the event
several tributes took place.
The penya highlighted the role that its seven founders had throughout the years, and
therefore it paid tribute to Esteban Gimeno, Jaime Sanz, Montse Castella, Tomàs Castell, Carlos
Caspe, Jordi Sieiro and Ramon Rovira.
The four presidents the penya has had could not be less, and Esteban Gimeno (also president
of honour due to its important role throughout the years), Juan Ignacio Crespo, Juan Vizcarro and
Manuel Drago also received a recognition from all the members.
All the supporters clubs that joined the celebrations were also acknowledged by the PB
Peñiscola.
