Penya of Olot pays tribute to Ernest Lluch

The Penya Barcelonista d’Olot i Comarca has organised the I Memorial Ernest Lluch, in honour of the Minister for Health and Consumption between 1982 and 1986.
On February 25, Olot paid tribute to the economist, politician and Barça fan who was tragically
killed eleven years ago in a terrorist attack. Pau Vilanova, director of the Social Commission and
patron of the FC Barcelona Foundation Joaquim Triadú, represented FC Barcelona at the event.
Meanwhile, Lluís Sacrest, The Mayor of Olot and patron of the Fundació Ernest Lluch, headed
the consistorial representation. The supporters club was represented by Miquel Vila, its president.
Enric Lluch, vice president of the Fundació Ernest Lluch, was also there, along with various
representatives and patrons of the foundation and several reporters and personages from the Barça
world.
San Sebastian also there
The Penya Blaugrana Donosti was also represented by its secretary, Sílvia Mas, in recognition
of the close bond between Ernest Lluch and the city of San Sebastian and its club Real Sociedad.
