Messages of support from supporters clubs have been pouring in for the French first team player, who will have surgery on Thursday at Hospital Clinic in Barcelona.

These expressions of support have come from all over via direct communication with the Supporters Club section, the club’s Facebook page, and also the Twitter hashtag #animsAbidal, set up by FC Barcelona to show support for the first team defender.
