Before the game between Barça and Espanyol, five supporters clubs unveiled their plaques on the North Goal and Lateral facades of the stadium.
First it was the Penya Blaugrana d’Odena who inaugurated their crest over gate 100 to the
stadium. Xavier Ilincheta, director of the FC Barcelona Supporters Clubs Commission, did the
honours along with the club’s president, Xavier Llobet.
On the North Ramp, Ilincheta did likewise with a plaque in honour of Penya Barcelonista
d’Albocàsser, from Castellon, along with its president José Vicente Ortí.
It was Elvira Pou, director of the Supporters Clubs Commission, who unveiled the crest of the
Penya Barcelonista Sis Copes from Barcelona, with its president Antoni Guardia at the head. The
Camp Noy finally has, over entrance 71, a reference to a supporters club named after the famous
achievement by the first team in winning six trophies in one year.
Another supporters club was able to unveil its crest on the day of the city derby. That was
the Penya Barcelonista Tres Xemeneies, from Poble Sec. Dani Casanovas, director of the Supporters
Clubs Commission and the club president, Ramon Borras, did the honours.
The Penya Barcelonista Vilamajor from Sant Antoni de Vilamajor, also unveiled their crest,
this time at gate 66. Joaquim Vergés, president of the club and Dani Casanovas honoured this club
which will now be able to join together and support the team every weekend.
