The Barça social area vice president, Jordi Cardoner i Casaus, attended the celebrations of the XXI meeting of Barcelona supporters clubs, held in Vilalba (Lugo) and organized by the Pravia Barcelona Supporters Club.
This weekend, Barça supporters clubs activities were centred on Galicia. The vice president of
the FC Barcelona social area, Jordi Cardoner i Casaus, represented the club in the XXI Meeting
of Galician Barcelona supporters clubs, where a total of 33 Barça supporters clubs paraded through
the town of Vilalba (Lugo) wearing their best outfits. The vice president shared a full day
together with 350 supporters club members, euphoric over the successes achieved this season. The
Vilalba City Council received the Barça representatives in a rally where the mayor, Gerardo Criado,
welcomed all supporters club members, who dressed the town in Barça colours this weekend.
"We must carry on like this"
Inside the Municipal Auditorium, Cardoner recalled that the social masses of Barça
are very powerful, and encouraged supporters club members to carry on supporting Barça just as they
have done up to now: "Being a Barça fan at a distance is complicated and you all do it really well.
Carry on doing the same thing”. Jordi Cardona dared to finish his speech in Galician.
Discussion on Barcelona’s momentum
The XXI Meeting opened on Saturday in the best way possible. With a round-table organized by
the Pravia Supporters Club, and with the participation of former Barça and Racing Santander players
like Andres Parada "Suco" and Quique Setien. Supporters Club members, former players and vice
president Cardoner, discussed the sweet moment that Barça is enjoying, both in the social and
sporting sense.
