Successful third night of the APBO

On a night of Catalan cuisine and blaugrana colours, Jordi Cardoner and Manel Vich were two of the stars during a dinner in which supporters’ placed their bets on Barça – Madrid.
On the third edition of the APBO night (Agrupació de Penyes de Barcelona Oriental), supporters
started their engines for this Monday’s classic. Around eighty culers gatghered in la Masia
de Can Cortada to colebrate the third night of this group of penyes based in Barcelona. FC
Barcelona was represented by the Vicepresident of the Social Area Jordi Cardoner, and the Head of
the Social Comission, Pau Vilanova, along with all the cups won by the professional sections of the
Club.
The players chosen by the APBO
17 supporters clubs are in the APBO who, as usual, choose those players who deserve an award
each season. On this occasion, the lucky players were Xavi Hernandez, Regal FCB forward Juan Carlos
Navarro, handball winger Víctor Tomàs, and roller hockey striker Alberto Borregán. On their side,
the players sent a video thanking supporters for this award.
Manel Vich, blaugrana feeling award
Camp Nou speaker Manel Vich was one of the stars that night. The voice of the stadium was
awarded with the blaugrana feeling prize. On the other hand, Sport journalist José Luis Carazo
collected the blaugrana optimism award.
Two new penyes
Two new penyes joined this society: PB Xavi and PB Castellers de Barcelona, entered through
the main door becoming official members of the APBO.
