Pau Vilanova attended the events of the II Congress of the Huelva Barcelona Supporters’ Clubs, that took place on July 8 in Gibraleón.
Chief director of Social Comission Pau Vilanova was the main representative of FC Barcelona at
the Congress of the Huelva Barcelona Supporters’ Clubs second edition. Along with Vilanova,
former player Pere Valentí Mora did not want to miss this event either, in one of the most active
areas in Spain regarding the penyes movement.
The series of events started at the headquarters of the Peña Barcelonista “Josep
Guardiola” de Gibraleón, this year’s congress organizer. A discussion was held, in
which different issues regarding FC Barcelona latest news, as well as the values it endorses. José
Ramón Gómez, Mayor of Gibraleón, and Rosendo Romero, president of the Huelva Barcelona
Supporters’ Clubs association, were the ones in charge of discussing the latest news on
Barça, bearing in mind the Club’s social background.
Dinner started by 10 p.m. at Restaurante Las Palomas. The entrance of the cake commemorating
the celebration was one of the peak moments of the evening, that ended with the attendants’
speeches, including the delegate of the Supporters’ Club Advisory Council for Western
Andalusia Rafael Pichardo.
